Injectable Fillers

Injectable fillers can refresh your face and give you more youthful and rested look. They add volume to your face, usually by filling in wrinkles and lines, and sometimes by plumping up areas of the face that have lost fat pads (such as the cheeks, under-eye area and temples), causing the skin to sink and sag. Injectable fillers can also enhance the fullness of your lips. Common areas treated with filler include nasiolabial fold “smile line” (from root of the nose to angle of mouth), marionette lines, flat or thin lips, forehead wrinkles and sunken cheeks.

Injectable Fillers used by Dr. Singh include: Juvederm, Juvaderm Voluma, Belotero and Perlane.  Most of the injectable fillers are Hyluronic acid base fillers which is a natural component of your tissue.

Injectable Filler (Juvaderm, Voluma, Belotero, Perlane) Cosmetic Procedure

Because these treatments are administered via a fine needle under the skin, they are minimally invasive while offering fantastic results.  Before the treatment begins the skin at and around the injection site will be cleansed with an antiseptic. In addition, a numbing cream may be used at the time of treatment to maximize your comfort. At the chosen injection site, utilizing a special technique, Dr. Singh will carefully inject the Injectable Filler solution using a fine needle.

Injectable Filler (Juvaderm, Voluma, Belotero, Perlane ) after care and results

After your procedure, you may be able to return to work or resume your regular routine. Mild side-effects are usually short-lived, but may include redness, mild bruising or swelling. Use of ice packs may be necessary for pain and swelling one to two days following the procedure. Following a lip treatment, the lips may become swollen, look somewhat uneven for a few days.

The remarkable results of your Injectable Filler treatment may be immediately obvious and can last around three to twelve months depending on what filler and what area is treated. If one’s treated region does not have adequate resolution, retreatment may be required. Due to the natural absorption of the materials used in your procedure, you may wish to return to Dr. Yash Singh for a touch-up treatment to maintain the effects.
